Hens Party Themes

The success of any Hens Party starts with the theme. The right theme will give you a clear direction for the night, and help you to determine the perfect activity ideas, wardrobe styles, invitation designs and pretty much everything else that happens on the night. In some cases it will even give you some nice cocktails to drinks!

The problem is that there are so many options, that a girl can go wild just picking one - so I have provided a short list of some of my favorites below. But before you jump in think about these things first:

1. Make sure the Hens Party Theme reflects the personality of the hen herself and is something that she will enjoy. Yes there is a bit of teasing the bride but mostly it is a chance for the hen to forget about the wedding admin and have some fun!

2. Think about who will be attending - parents and family or just close friends - you may find that your bikini barbie outfit is not really grans cup of tea.

3. Have fun with it. Once you have chosen your theme go wild with it and be creative.

Hens Party Themes

A Day at the Spa
One of my favorite themes is the spa. A day of pampering and luxury is a perfect way to release tension from the bride (and bridesmaids) and to just relax with friends. You can also plan a day at home and bring in a sexy masseuse to cater to your guests. This leaves the rest of you available to continuing drinking champagne, and doing other treatments. This theme is perfect for pretty much everyone.

Princess Theme
Every little girl wants to be a princess and for this hens party that is exactly what she will become. Dressed to impress with a tiara to match the hen is treated like royalty for the event. Hire a limo for the evening and get transported around time with full service. This is also a great way to start the evening as you can drink champagne and get VIP status. Also try to get your names on the door to the hottest clubs and turn up in the limo. People will be trying to see who the celebrities are!

Angels and Demons
The great thing about this theme is that each guest can decide which character they want to be and also how daring they want to make their own look. This is particularly good if the mother in law or grandmother is planning on attending and may not be so comfortable wearing devil horns and a low cut top... You can also dress the bride up with the opposing outfit - all the girls in black with horns and the bride to be in white with a halo. After all the girls are probably going to be making fun with the hen anyway!

No matter which theme you end up using, just remember that this is about having fun. You do not need to be outrageous or dirty to have a good time. At the end of the night the important thing to remember is to keep the bride the center of attention. Try to incorporate games around her and do things that she will like. It is a chance for her to just relax amidst all of the pressure with her closest friends.

Have fun!

I really enjoy Hens Parties but know how difficult they can be. I will hopefully be posting more thoughts soon otherwise you can go to my site below:
